Fabric markers - whether the paint or the ink style - are an easy way to start creating your own print right away!
If you'd like to make a repeat print like this Christmas tree design, a quick hack to get even spacing is to make your own rulers! I marked out 10cm marks onto scrap selvedge fabric, and then laid these across the hemmed linen fabric, and used this to measure out the positions on each Christmas tree.
Then it's a simple matter to just draw in your symbol at each of the marks:
Let the paint dry, heat set it, and you're done!
