A mesmerising underwater macrocosm
The underwater world is a constant source of fascination for me. For a recent birthday, we took the plunge (literally) and booked an ocean view room at the local aquarium - 3 days spent glazed, immersed, watching the sea life swim and swirl past again and again, continuously creating new shapes and forms.
Jellyfish are singularly hypnotic; from gently translucent moon jellies to the riotous colours and molten shapes of lion’s mane and stinger jellyfish. This collection is inspired by their kinetic energy, and that of octopus tentacles in motion.
