The artichoke style is one of the very simplest to learn in my experience. We place the item in the center of the scarf, tie a knot with two opposite corners, and then with the two remaining corners to form a four pointed 'flower' on top. Primp, and ta-da!
It works well with any shaped item, you can just adjust where you tie the top knots to suit the shape.
